Gloam Camera Terms of Use

Includes the terms for paid Gloam Pro services

Welcome to Gloam Camera.

These Terms apply when you download, install, access, or use Gloam Camera and its paid Gloam Pro services.

Please read these Terms before use. By tapping “Agree and Continue,” purchasing Gloam Pro, or continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Service and Use Rules

  1. Gloam Camera is a photography and image-processing app for iOS devices. It may provide capture, editing, an on-device album, photo export, Gloam Pro, and other features shown in the current version.
  2. Some features are free. Features marked Pro require a valid Gloam Pro entitlement.
  3. The App currently does not require a separate Gloam account. Apple processes purchases, renewals, cancellations, purchase restoration, and refunds through the App Store and StoreKit.
  4. You must have the legal capacity required to use the App and must use it lawfully. You may not bypass payment verification, defeat security measures, reverse engineer the App, or use it for unlawful or infringing activities.

2. Your Content, Local Data, and Privacy

  1. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in works captured or edited with the App. Using the App does not transfer ownership of your works to us.
  2. You are responsible for ensuring that the source, storage, and sharing of your works are lawful and do not infringe intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
  3. Photos, editing data, and related files are mainly stored on your device. The App does not promise cloud storage, cross-device sync, or a recycle-bin service. Back up important content when needed.
  4. For details about how the App handles personal information and usage data, see the Gloam Camera Privacy Policy.

3. Paid Gloam Pro Services

  1. Gloam Pro unlocks features marked Pro in the App. The purchase screen and the current App version describe the actual entitlement.
  2. The Product ID for the Gloam Pro Annual plan is com.fanyingze.gloamcam.pro.annual. It is a one-year auto-renewable subscription.
  3. The Annual plan renews every year. The price, currency, and taxes shown on the Apple purchase confirmation screen control.
  4. The Product ID for Gloam Pro Lifetime is com.fanyingze.gloamcam.pro.lifetime. It is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not renew automatically.
  5. “Lifetime” means the product has no fixed subscription expiration date. It does not promise that the App will operate forever, remain available for download forever, or support every future device or operating system.

4. Renewal, Cancellation, and Price Changes

  1. The Annual plan automatically renews at the end of each subscription period until you cancel, or until the subscription ends because of Apple processing, payment failure, product withdrawal, or another applicable reason.
  2. To prevent renewal, cancel before the next renewal through iPhone subscription settings or Apple’s subscription management page:
  3. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. After you turn off automatic renewal, access usually continues until the end of the current paid period.
  4. Apple handles subscription price changes, notices, and any required confirmation under its rules. The renewal price displayed or notified by Apple controls.

5. Restore Purchases and Refunds

  1. You may use “Restore Purchases” in the App with the Apple Account used for the original purchase to restore an active Annual plan or a Lifetime entitlement that has not been refunded or revoked. Restoration does not charge you again.
  2. Apple processes purchases and refund requests made through the App Store. You may request a refund at:
  3. Apple determines refund eligibility and the final result under its policies and applicable law. Canceling automatic renewal is not the same as requesting a refund.
  4. After Apple refunds, revokes, or terminates an entitlement, the App will stop providing the corresponding benefits based on the verified StoreKit status.
  5. These Terms do not limit rights granted by applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Intellectual Property, Service Changes, and Responsibility

  1. Except for your works and content lawfully owned by third parties, intellectual property in the App’s software, interface, visual design, marks, and related materials belongs to us or the relevant rights holders.
  2. The App may be updated or changed for feature improvements, security, system compatibility, legal requirements, or platform requirements.
  3. We will reasonably maintain the service, but do not guarantee permanent operation, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every future device, operating system, or third-party service.
  4. Changes affecting purchased Gloam Pro entitlements will be handled according to verified StoreKit status, Apple’s rules, and applicable law.
  5. Back up important content as appropriate. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Apple Standard End User License Agreement

  1. The App Store provides you a license to use the App, not ownership of the App software.
  2. Your licensed use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement:
  3. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s standard agreement regarding an App Store license, Apple’s standard agreement and mandatory applicable law control.

8. Updates, Termination, Disputes, and Contact

  1. We may update these Terms for product changes, Apple rules, or legal requirements. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes and obtain new consent before they take effect when required by law.
  2. You may stop using and delete the App at any time, but deleting the App does not cancel the Annual plan.
  3. Where permitted by law, we may restrict relevant services if a user seriously violates the law, infringes rights, compromises App security, or bypasses payment verification.
  4. These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China without affecting mandatory consumer rights under the law where you live. The parties should first try to resolve disputes amicably; unresolved disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
